Freshman LB Joe Bolden is making a sudden impact on the Michigan coaches,especially after a stellar game against Air Force. After playing two series in the first half and the duration of the second half, some might assume there is a legit competition at MLB. Hoke acknowledged that there is a battle going on. Either, Senior Kenny Demens steps up or he may be in a struggle for that starting spot. Bolden seemed to follow the ball better in the win over the Falcons, grasping their option style attack. He finished with 10 tackles, which was second on the team. Bolden has 11 total tackles on the year thus far and if he keeps it up there will be many more in this LB's future. Just a BOLD prediction.
