The week leading up to an interesting matchup with the Air Force Falcons the Wolverines look to avenge their embarrassing loss to the Alabama Crimson Tide. The task seems a little easier said than done. With a crushing loss to the secondary, will Courtney Avery be able to step up? Blake Countess tore his ACL in the loss to Alabama in week one.                                         

Avery a previous starter for the Wolverines has started in 8 games in his career. He has contributed two career interceptions. As a veteran will he be able to fill the shoes of aspiring star Blake Countess? They take on a run oriented team in Air Force this weekend, and probably won’t get to much pressure at the corners.

The Wolverines and Falcons have only played in one previous game and that was a victory for Michigan in 1964.
