After confirming the move to the ACC in all things other than Football, Notre Dame and Michigan's contract expires in 2020. The play regularly through 2017 and have a break in action in 2018-19.
Michigan AD, Dave Brandon said it was up to the Fighting Irish to decide how the two storied programs keep the rivalry going. Dave Brandon hopes to keep the battle between the two going well after the 2020 season.
