No Place Like Home, Or Is There?

Will Kelly be able to handle the hype Saturday evening?

Will the Sophomore Everett Golson and HC Brian Kelly be able to handle their composure with the home pressure tomorrow evening? South Bend will be filled with anticipation and hope. The road team, the Michigan Wolverines come in to town riding a three game winning streak against Notre Dame. The Irish faithful believe this is the year they make a stand Nationally and more importantly as of right now against Michigan.

With a quick tempered coach like Brian Kelly it should be interesting to see if Golson makes a few mistakes. Will Kelly pull him? The weight of the Irish fan base will be on his shoulders. He will be under the microscope as much as the team. He’s very erratic.

What it comes down to is the Notre Dame’s coach could lose this game for them. If Michigan forces a early turnover or two. Possibly a few three and outs, we could see a QB competition right there on the field for the Golden Domers. Tommy Rees, Andrew Hendrix, or Everett Golson? Then just in like years past, long faces and a long season for the Irish.
