Returning to Form

Can Roy return to form?
Returning to Form

Roy Roundtree, a senior WR for Michigan has got to play bigger and stronger out wide. He will be making his 31st start on Saturday afternoon against the Falcons. In 2010, Roundtree caught 72 passes for 935 yards and 7 TD's. He was a Biletnikoff Award candidate. Michigan fans want to see him return to that form after coming off a less than notable 2011 performance. Roy  had 19 receptions for 355 yards and 2 TD's.

Roundtree is the active leader on the team in both receiving yards and catches. He will  need to emerge this season and step up as a true number 1 receiver. In week one he had 2 catches for 12 yards. He must improve if Michigan wants to have a decent season. Someone besides Denard Robinson will have to make plays. Who better than the number one wide out? If Roundtree can return to his 2010 form we should have a respectable passing game and it will take alot of pressure off the run game for Michigan.
