Winning Is What Matters

Roy Roundtree (21)
Senior WR Roy Roundtree is always preaching Team first. Even though he only has 372 yards the last 15 games and only three receptions for 17 yards this season. His career stats are:

2009  - 11 games, 32 receptions, 434 yards (13.6 average), 3 TD
2010  - 13 games, 72 receptions, 935 yards (13.0 average), 7 TD
2011  - 13 games, 19 receptions, 355 yards (18.7 average), 2 TD
2012 - 2 games, 3 receptions, 17 yards (5.7 average), 0 TD

Roy says he not into stats and when he gets the ball he can make big plays for his team.

He wears the No. 21 Legends jersey formerly worn by Heisman Winner Desmond Howard. It is worn in a part of a leadership role. Hoke remains enthusiastic about his work ethic and ability to block. Roundtree remains sincere about any questions about his statistics. In his own words, "Stats don't matter to me — I just want to win."

That's what a team player is all about and any HC would love to have more players like that.
