Michigan Opens
with Offensive Woes

Michigan has had two weeks to prepare for the Boilermakers. Hopefully
in this time they have at least fixed some of their offensive woes on that side
of the ball. Coming off a six turnover game without scoring a TD against Notre
Dame, Michigan better figure it out. It’s the start of the B1G Conference and
this is now all the Wolverines have to play for.
It comes back to get getting back to basics on the offensive
side of the ball. They need to run the rock efficiently with the running backs
not the QB. Getting off the ball with the offensive line and getting a push. Throwing
the ball to open receivers and more importantly not to the opposing team. The way
a Michigan team is supposed to play, sound and smart.
If they can accomplish this, I feel we have the best overall
team in the conference. It also seems that the defense is starting to get the
scheme and the way to play. Score points, let the defense protect the lead, and
don’t turn the ball over Michigan will have a shot in the rest of their games.
