Raymon Taylor is a gamer!
Published By: Jeremy Wrobel
Stepping up at the corner position is exactly what Sophomore Raymon Taylor has done for the Wolverines. The former 4 star rated corner has been a quiet surprise for the Wolverines until now. Taylor has share of the lead for INT's for the Wolverines this season with two. He has been named starter opposite of Senior T.J. Floyd after Sophomore Blake Countess went down for the year in the week one loss to Alabama. Taylor has also recorded 16 tackles and has picked up a fumble recovery. Quiet until now, opposing offenses will be keeping an eye on the rising star from here on out. The future looks bright for the Michigan defense next year with Countess and Taylor at the corners for the Big Blue. Thanks for reading and Go Blue!
Hail! to the victors valiant Hail! to the conqu'ring heroes Hail! Hail! to Michigan The leaders and best!

Is it the running backs or offensive line?
Backs or Line?
Published By: Jeremy Wrobel
WHILE MICHIGAN ROUTED PURDUE SATURDAY AFTERNOON THEY STILL HAS PROBLEMS IN THE GROUND GAME. DENARD ROBINSON HAD A SPECTACULAR GAME WITH 235 YARDS ON 24 CARRIES. FITZ TOUSSAINT HAD A MISERABLE 19 YARDS ON 17 CARRIES. THE QUESTION IS WHAT THE PROBLEM WITH THE ACTUAL RUNNING BACKS? OR IS IT THE O-LINE? THE LINE CAN OPEN UP HOLES ON STRETCH PLAYS FOR ROBINSON BUT WHEN IT COMES TIME TO PLAY PHYSICAL AND HAND THE BALL OFF TO A REAL RB THAT GET OUT PLAYED. IF THEY ONLY PRODUCE FOR A ONE YARD PER RUSH AVERAGE MICHIGAN WILL HAVE A ROUGH ROAD THROUGH THE B1G. TEAMS WILL BUCKLE DOWN ON DENARD AND MAKE MICHIGAN HAND THE BALL OF TO REAL RB'S. WITH A LACK OF PASS GAME MICHIGAN HAS, RUNNING WILL BE CRUCIAL TO GET STARTED. A ONE YARD RUSH AVERAGE IS JUST DISGRACEFUL. OT TAYLOR LEWAN BETTER GET THE CREW IN SYNC OR WHEN THE WOLVERINES PLAY A BETTER DEFENSIVE FRONT THEY WILL BE IN FOR A LONG DAY IN THE TRENCHES.

Road woes coming to an end for Michigan?
MICHIGAN VS PURDUE
PUBLISHED BY: JEREMY WROBEL
SATURDAY AFTERNOON THE PURDUE BOILERMAKERS WILL HOST THE STRUGGLING MICHIGAN WOLVERINES. THIS SHOULD BE AN INTRIGUING MATCH-UP FOR MICHIGAN IN THEIR B1G OPENER.
MICHIGAN'S GROUND GAME IS STRUGGLING THIS SEASON. FITZ TOUSSAINT HAS 150 YARDS THROUGH THREE GAMES AND ONLY HAS ONE SCORE. THE WOLVERINES WILL BE GOING AGAINST A DUO FROM PURDUE IN KAWANN SHORT AND BRUCE GASTON. THEY ARE CONSIDERED ONE OF THE BETTER DT UNITS AROUND. HC BRADY HOKE IS HOPING THAT HIS BIG BOYS UP FRONT GET IT TOGETHER FOR THEIR RUN IN THE B1G. WHAT A BETTER WAY THAN TO START AGAINST THE PURDUE D-LINE. IF MICHIGAN WANTS TO MAKE A RUN THE BETTER MAKE A STATEMENT AGAINST PURDUE TOMORROW.
AS FAR AS THE PASS GAME GOES, BOY, WHERE TO START. UNLESS DENARD ROBINSON LIMITS THE ILL ADVISED THROWS MICHIGAN COULD BE IN FOR A LONG GAME IF IT COMES DOWN TO IT. PURDUE IS ONLY RANKED 84TH IN THE NATION BUT, DENARD CAN MAKE ANY DEFENSE LOOK LIKE THEY ARE A TOP FIVE TEAM. IF OC AL BORGES CALLS GAME MANAGMENT THROWS FOR ROBINSON THE WOLVERINES SHOULD BE FINE. I DON'T REALLY EXPECT ANY BIG GAMES FROM THE TE'S OR WR'S.
MICHIGAN'S DEFENSE LINE SEEMS TO BE TURNING THE CORNER. THEY HAD AN OUTSTANDING GAME AGAINST NOTRE DAME, HOLDING THE IRISH TO JUST 13 POINTS. IT STARTED UP FRONT. THE FRONT FOUR LOOK TO BE PLAYING PHYSICAL AND ARE LOOKING TO HAVE A REALLY, REALLY GOOD GAME AGAINST SOMEONE. THEY ARE GOING AGAINST THE 33RD RANKED RUSH OFFENSE IN THE LAND SO THIS SHOULD BE A GREAT TEST IN THE TRENCHES.
THE WOLVERINE SECONDARY WILL BE GOING AGAINST THE 43RD RANKED AIR ATTACK. PURDUE HAS TWO OUTSTANDING RECEIVERS IN ANTAVIAN EDISON AND O.J. ROSS. MICHIGAN'S PASS D IS RANKED 9TH NATIONALLY BUT, THEY PLAYED AIR FORCE AND UMASS. THIS SHOULD BE A GOOD MEASURING STICK FOR THE DB'S. ON A QUICK NOTE, SOPHOMORE RAYMON TAYLOR WILL BE THE STARTER FOR MICHIGAN OPPOSITE OF J.T. FLOYD. LOOK FOR PURDUE TO TRY AN EXPLOIT THAT.
I THINK WITH THE BYE WEEK MICHIGAN JUST HAD, THEY WILL BE PREPARED AND READY TO PLAY. IT'S A TOUGH ROAD GAME TO START THE B1G BUT, I SEE THEM PUTTING A SOLID, COMPLETE GAME TOGETHER. BIG BLUE WINS 30-17. THANKS FOR READING AND GO BLUE!

Is Demens Declining At LB?
PUBLISHED BY: JEREMY WROBEL
FIFTH YEAR SENIOR, KENNY DEMENS HAS HAD A ROUGH FIRST MONTH FOR THE MAIZE AND BLUE. THROUGH THE FIRST FOUR GAMES DEMENS HAS ONLY RECORDED 18 TOTAL TACKLES. LAST YEAR HE HAD ACCUMULATED THAT IN THE FIRST TWO GAMES. HE ALSO DID NOT FINISH A GAME WITH LESS THAN 5 TACKLES IN ANY GAME IN 2011. DEMENS HAS MANAGED TO DO THAT TWICE ALREADY THIS SEASON. THE WAY HE IS PLAYING HE MAY VERY WELL BE LOOKING AT THE BENCH HERE SHORTLY WITH FRESHMEN JAMES ROSS OR JOE BOLDEN GETTING THE NOD TO START.
THE LINEBACKERS WERE SUPPOSED TO BE THE HEART OF THE DEFENSE THIS YEAR. THEY HAVE UNDER PERFORMED AND HAVE BEEN FRANKLY DISAPPOINTING. DEMENS DID SHOW SIGNS OF BEING COMPETITIVE AGAINST A GOOD TEAM IN NOTRE DAME, NOW IT’S TIME TO BE CONSISTENT. AS A MICHIGAN SUPPORTER MYSELF, HONESTLY THIS HAS BEEN THE TEAMS FLAW THE WHOLE YEAR. CONSISTENCY!
Whoa! Whoa! Woes!
Michigan Opens
with Offensive Woes
Published by:
Jeremy Wrobel
Michigan has had two weeks to prepare for the Boilermakers. Hopefully
in this time they have at least fixed some of their offensive woes on that side
of the ball. Coming off a six turnover game without scoring a TD against Notre
Dame, Michigan better figure it out. It’s the start of the B1G Conference and
this is now all the Wolverines have to play for.
It comes back to get getting back to basics on the offensive
side of the ball. They need to run the rock efficiently with the running backs
not the QB. Getting off the ball with the offensive line and getting a push. Throwing
the ball to open receivers and more importantly not to the opposing team. The way
a Michigan team is supposed to play, sound and smart.
If they can accomplish this, I feel we have the best overall
team in the conference. It also seems that the defense is starting to get the
scheme and the way to play. Score points, let the defense protect the lead, and
don’t turn the ball over Michigan will have a shot in the rest of their games.
